Cade was born in Los Angeles, California, although she briefly also lived in a farm in Kentucky. While in college, she worked as a dominatrix.[4][5]
Cade’s first adult scene was with Capri Cavalli in 2008 for Cavalli’s website. She went on to perform in small films as a result of answering ads on Craigslist; none of these films were ever released.[4] Her first film as a director was Art School Dykes, for which she was nominated for a Feminist Porn Award in 2011.[6]

Cade insists in only acting in girl/girl films but has no problem directing boy/girl videos.[3] In September 2008 she married her college sweetheart[4] Sten Cade after being together since 2005.
